CHAPTER-9
WHO'S THAT?
After the death of that man, everyone was shocked except Peter. But after some time Peter also was shocked. But for what? Everyone, including Harry, was shocked at the question who was he, but Peter was shocked by the question 'what was he waiting for'. It's kind of obvious. Peter was intelligent and he thought always different from others. He investigated the plate on which the paper was given. Under that was a sign. It consisted of a skull and two bones intersecting each other. It seemed as any sign showing 'danger'. That was horrible. IT WAS OF BPTD. The friends had no clue about that sign.
A day passed and Peter and Harry were still searching the kitchen. He searched everywhere from under the gas stove to the inside of the chimney. Everything was confusing.
Rogers was missing and not kidnapped. This was only the conclusion both the friends had reached and now the case was again stopped.
Although the case was still pending, both the friends were gaining importance. They had reached a conclusion in ten days that no detective was able to reach in more than two months.
After a couple of days, Harry left the kitchen and started searching in the garden. After some time, he suddenly found a bottle of toxic. It was only a thinking that the man who died was the representative of the group that had kidnapped Rogers but now it was all clear that he was a really a representative. The man died because he had drunk the toxic so that no one would be able to catch him.
"Twist, twist and twist is the motive of this case.", said Harry.
"You're right! But the question is that if he isn't missing then what about his shoes?", said Peter.
"I think this is a plan.", said Harry.
"How can you say that he is not missing?", said an investigation officer.
"It's very simple. The man would not be present here until Rogers was kidnapped.", said Peter.
"But I think that this kidnapping was planned many years ago for today.", said Harry.
"It's not a small organization. They have bigger motives and destructive plans. Inform London to be aware and be careful. It's all on us.", Peter exclaimed.
Days passed, the investigation continued but today was a new twist. Harry was eating chips in the bedroom of Rogers. When he ate the chips, suddenly the wrapper fell down. He bowed to pick up the wrapper and saw the reflection of the same sign Peter saw on the plate. After seeing that Harry fainted on the floor and Peter saw him.
When he woke up, he told Peter everything that he saw.
"So it consisted of a skull and two bones", said Peter.
"Ya", said Harry.
"Was it on the floor?", said Peter.
"No! It was a reflection on the tile", said Harry.
"Oh! It means it was under the bed", said Peter.
"Maybe!", said Harry.
Peter was in his own thoughts and Harry was not in his states of control. They went to the bed to detect it. Harry was in pain but lesser than the last one. The question is why did Harry faint there? And this time he didn't. It was confusing for both the friends. They saw the sign again and Peter said, "Is that what you saw?"
"Yes", said Harry in pain.
"As I thought", said Peter.
"What did you think?", said Harry.
"A disastrous thing", said Peter after a shocking sigh, "Leave it. Time will tell that."
"But...", said Harry.
"Leave it! I said, leave it", said Peter in an arrogant manner.
"I have no faith on time.", said Harry.
Peter was assured that Rogers was with a terrorist group because the sign seemed like that. These dangerous signs depict terrorist groups. They are meant to scare people. The sign was answering this question. But which group? It was the question that arose in his mind. The story was becoming confusing day-by-day. Peter did not tell this observation to Harry. After a hard-work of more than twenty days, the question was still the same, Who's That?
